Even to Jon's untrained ears, that single sound from Daenerys' mouth speaks volumes as far as whether or not he'd made the right choice using his mouth on her. It seems to be a resounding approval along with a strong encouragement to continue. So that's what Jon does, using his lips and tongue as much in the way as he had while kissing her, and the sounds from above him are clearly saying he's doing well.
