"No, we wouldn't," she agreed, chuckling wryly. They'd been about as fortunate as any in their positions could be, but those positions were by nature rather unfortunate, it was true. Daenerys would never have wished this on anyone else, but, well, having Jon there already had always been a comfort.

As for their current conversation, she wasn't sure if it was also a comfort or something quite different. Some of this, she knew, could be attributed to her mood and opinion of the situation -- his role in it, her role, everything as a whole -- but some of it was not so easily explained.
