Daenerys had heard the rumors of Margaery Tyrell's friendliness, of course, her benevolent deeds done across King's Landing (it would be difficult to say that she trusted anyone here, or hardly anyone at all, but paying mind to the smallfolk did somewhat endear Margaery to her before the fact, if for no other reason than that she'd do herself if she had means) and her easy charm.
